31/08/15 – More? You want More?

August 31, 20157

We’re all doing it you know, constantly wanting more.
Ancient defense responses buried deep in the evolutionary development of our brains become confused by the physiological stressors of modern life.  A natural drive for the simple staples required for survival is hyper-stimulated, then distorted through a lens of consumerism and marketing.

It causes a disconnection from the innate self, which masquerades as the modern need for more.

Mornings like this help reconnect us, because mornings like this are enough.  And with the contentment created through immersion in this ritual you’ll find yourself connected to an even deeper truth…

You are enough.

While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company.
