09/01/17 – One Sip at a Time

09/01/201712

… If you were tasked with drinking the ocean dry, that’s how you’d do it. One sip at a time.

If you tasked yourself with creating a safe, enjoyable BnB swim for the uncommon hour of 6:30am, you’d do what our mate Andrew Drinkwater does.  Turn up every morning with a she’ll-be-right-smile, gather your group and…  Swim.

Before you know it you will have created your own following, a church of the rising sun, and also just happen to accumulate an almighty swim distance of 2000 kilometers.  Both massive achievements, and an example for everyone to follow as we set about our own achievements for 2017.

You can aim to be the best in the world, or you set your sights higher still…  And be the best for the world,  surpassing those achievements of common hours.

A big thank you to Andrew Drinkwater.  From the 6:30 swim, that wouldn’t be what it is without you, and from the 7:00 swim that relies on your daily conditions report.

Oh, and congratulations on those 2000 kilometers.

Cheers!

Drinky is a legend and so are you Andrew for your healing hands and your blogging! (If you have any muscle, joint etc pain in your body go and see Andrew and he’ll fix you. He’s helped 3 generations of my family.) Lovely morning but very bumpy swim.

Many thanks for all the well wishes and thanks to Lainey and co for organising the celebration tunnel and fancy dress. And a cracking blog Magic Hands. Greatly appreciated.
Many thanks to all my swimming buds in the B’n’B. You are an absolutely awesome group of crazies and you put a smile on my oversized dial every day.
