Recently the TV show Utopia started. It is so like my work that I can’t watch or if I do watch, it makes me cry rather than laugh. It is almost like I fell asleep on the bus and talked about my day at work and the scriptwriter was taking notes on the same bus. Much closer to a real positive experience is South Steyne and our lovely patch of the sea. It is so clean and we have such diverse sea creatures to see that it is really uplifting.

What I have been reading: of course as a massive fan of Michael Connelly I have read The Last Show featuring new detective Renee Ballard. Fabulous. Also a new Harry Bosch is coming out in November this year. Also started reading The Gene written by the same author that wrote the Emperor of Maladies, a medical research writer who makes science a rip roaring read. Also informative.
Badge ceremony: 19 September 2017. Get going with your swims and get your badge or badges.

Well, we’re all going to be asking ‘where’s Paul at?’ in a few weeks and your big swim will go unremarked upon… if a swimmer swims and no one writes it up on fb did it really happen?

I hope I am blogging on the day of Paul’s swim because with all the comments on Michael Teys’ massive achievement, I have so many comments listed on my blog. So thanks Michael for donating to Lifeline out of your swim and also getting my more comments than ever before!!
