The weather may have been a little sub optimal this morning, but the same cannot be said of the conditions, they were near perfect. A few little fun waves on walking in to the water, a wade almost all the way to the point and the most clear, perfect conditions. We even got to see a beautiful ray, wobby, blue gropher and plenty of other sea life.
These guys were embarking on their first swim today, with Henrietta forming the welcome group, filling in for management who are still on holidays.
This couple below did a 6.30 swim.
Christina, pictured below with Cheryl, is probably the most popular B&Ber at the moment. She is offering to do wave skills sessions on alternative Saturdays and Sundays from 3.30pm for those wanting to gain more confidence in the waves. The first session is planned for this Sunday (13th), followed by Saturday (19th) etc. Check out the facebook swimmers group for more details.
There’s still a good number of people at 7am swims.
