Winter’s last day – no-one told the weather.

31/08/20260

Monday 31/8/26  IWT 16.16.6, OWT 15.

What an end to winter, the water is still a lovely refresh, but the exit is so bright and clear.

Gentle small rolling surge, viz ok, but green, clear along the walkway after fairy bower.

We say an estuarine catfish before the Manly point, port jacksons, schools of fish and two cuttlefish – the male very battleworn but keen to say hello.

The coral watch yesterday was worthwhile, thankyou John Sears and Lainey for organising.  I have to improve my free diving, as you’ll see from my pj under a rock ledge photo.

Nice push back into Manly beach, very nice.

Last day for your winter badge, so come on in, beautiful swim.
