Saturday 29/8/26 IWT 16.8, OWT 18
Reminder for the Coral Watch tomorrow with John Sears at Fairy Bower at 10am. Bring swim gear and camera to learn about the corals in CTB and the impact of the warming oceans.
On that note, it didn’t feel that warm today, my face felt it for the first time. Viz is pretty good, the tiny particles have cleared, milky still, the sand is visible and for a good photo free dive skills are a bonus. I don’t have those yet, so my photos today are shallow sights.
Cuttlefish, diamond fish, pjs, pufferfish, fiddler ray, little rays, blue gropers, parrot fish.
You’d be excused for thinking it was a summers day, the laughter and talking and numbers of swimmers and freedivers out in cbt was lovely to see.
Hoping it clears more tomorrow, flat forecasts, easy swimming, sun is out today, simply beautiful as always! Last few days to earn your winter badges, so come and enjoy!
Cheers,
Kerrie x
