It’s a good day for the surfers today and a hazardous one for swimmers. Temperature was 22.1 and swell was big plus a strong pull to the water movement.
Some of the stronger swimmers like the A team entered at Manly, some walked to Shelly, others splashed in the fairy bower pool or entered at halfway. Today was a day to remember Ted de Jager who would have been 64 today, so a group of us splashed in the surf together or watched from the shoreline.
The walkway over to Shelly was heavily covered in water spilling over. A day for me not to swim but watch from the shore.
Spectacular day for surfers and photographers.
Have a good weekend everyone.
