After yesterdays heat wave today was a welcome reprieve, with the water temperature just over 20 degrees and air temp in the early 20’s.
There was a fairly large group swimming to Shelly. I met two newbies, Riley and then Nathan.
I captured Louise and her friends entering the water for a fun swim together . Lots of people waiting for the laggers to arrive at Shelly and on the way back I met Renata and Flavia watching a wobbegong sleeping.
At 8am the surf club had a 3 minute silence to honour the victims of last Sunday- the Jewish community and Australian community have been shocked to the core – may we all unite together. It was a beautiful moment to witness.
I did another lap to the pool and back and found some schools of fish at halfway. The visibility was low today and a few waves about but all up a beautiful Saturday swim.
I managed to retrieve some rubbish from the water, please take with you anything you see 🙏 .
