What an absolutely stunning morning: clear skies, warm crystal clear water, oh my gosh it really doesn’t get any better than this. It’s just perfect right now.
We saw a couple of the dusky whalers this morning loads of fish.
I rescued a 24 pound weight belt from the bottom near Shelly and nearly drowned myself trying to swim it to shore. Thanks to Ian Saunders for helping me by carrying the string… 🙂 and the Michelle and James for paddling on boards. It was all worth it as via Dave from Eco Divers the weight belt has now found its way back to its rightful owners at Pro Dive 🙂
Good luck to all the B&B swimmers who are participating in the Rottnest Channel Swim on Saturday: Brendan Maher swimming all 20kms solo, Kelly and Jan in a duo, James and Suanne in a duo and Rowan and his friend in a duo – good luck guys and most importantly, enjoy !
Next year there there should be a large B&B contingent going over. Michael and I are going to do solo again, who else ???

I think it would be quite reasonable to make Rottnest channel the Summer badge for B&B for 2012. What’s everyone think.
