I forgot to mention yesterday that Mr Oceanswims made his debut appearance and enjoyed his 1st swim with us. Today marks his partner Suanne’s 4th swim – she’s addicted :-). Other now regular B&B swimmers that you would recognise from ‘Oceanswims’ are James & Nicolee – who have both qualified for their winter badge – yippee and Collie who is training up for a double channel crossing – WOW!

That’s the English Channel alright and Collie has already done it once in water of 14c and it took him EIGHTEEN HOURS without a wetsuit!! I’d have to get in the fridge to warm up after that, but he’s obviously still alive. BTW Shelly Clark who is an outstanding open water swimmer had to jettison her attempt at the Channel yesterday as the weather has been so crook, she never left the beach. How disappointing!
