Tomorrow the prediction is for a big swell. However when you look at the web sites the swell is from the South and the wind is from the West or North West, so it could in fact be quite pleasant in Manly, with bad conditions further North. Certainly it was a grotty start to the day this morning with high winds, rain, cold and a moderate surf. Even though the temperature was down to 16.9c it really didn’t seem that cold and in fact conditions were quite nice when you got going [as is so often the case]. The sun even came out just as we got into Shelly, visibility was moderate and the swell had even dropped by the time we got back to Manly. Our youngest swimmer Sam handled it with his usual expertise and I hope thouroughly enjoyed it. So don’t be put off by the predictions for tomorrow, it could in fact be great.
