Over 139 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
What a fantastic turnout this morning, our second ever largest turnout outside of our special Australia Day Swims, and it’s Autumn… 🙂
There was a decent surf to start us off on a lovely swim. Clear water, lots of fish; flathead, sting rays and the largest number of the largest blue groupers I’ve ever seen. Check out the photos of one of the beautiful groupers taken by James Goins yesterday.
The swim was followed by our summer badge
ceremony to celebrate everyone’s amazing achievements of which there were many !!!
- 60 people qualified for their 6km badge
- 38 people for the 10km
- 10 people for Manly to Manly (round north head), and
- 24 people for across the heads
A great morning was had by all, I hope… Thank you to everyone who took part and to everyone who embraced the challenges making them such a success and of course congratulations to you all ! 🙂

So… what’s next:
- South head challenge swim in two weeks, Sat 26th March – yes there will be a ‘super swim’ badge… 🙂
- A 5-6km warm up swim next Saturday 19th March (continuing on after the regular swim) in preparation for south head, anyone is welcome of course (at your own risk)
- Winter badge……
- Dardanelles in August 🙂

What a privilege to be part of this enormous people’s movement Jules. Very glad I was one of the 139 swimmers this morning, sorry I had to dash off and missed the badge ceremony.
Re the cozzies, do you have a sample for trying on before ordering?

I have samples of the Mens and the ladies two piece only at this stage. The ladies one piece is brand new so they dont have any previous ones that we can use for samples.
There is a one week delay on the Mens and the ladies two piece so they should all be arriving together with the ladies one piece two weeks on Monday. Adam from Budgy Smuggler said hed come for a swim so you can take the blame out on him…
