And when we were walking back about 9am there was a whale playing just outside the point, breaching and whacking his tail on the water. Tony L tells us there were 12 whales off the beach yesterday! Maybe they’re breaching and slapping the water because of the bluebottles!!
Looks like a strong easterly wind and swell at 3m tomorrow, so the unpleasant conditions and blueys are here for a few days I think.
