135 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
In contrast to yesterday it was a bit of a bumpy swim this morning. In fact, to quote Lee it was like 4 wheel drive swimming.
The sea was beautifully warm though and clear enough for some swimmers to see plenty of marine life…
Brendan inadvertently towed some seaweed across to Shelly… which got put to good use 😉
Evan, Gaetan, Iain and Sam enjoyed a bonus bolderdash. Which sees us with one of Gaetan’s lovely sunrise photos and Sam with her first 4.5km swim completed 🙂
It was a touch of the boys in blue at brekkie… maybe you will find them in a Jazz trio in the Corso later today ??
Plus cuddles all round for Robin, well at least from baby Brigitte… Happy Birthday Robin 🙂
Welcome back to Jenny Knapman and safe flight back to the UK to John Maher. A photo from Stephen below of John enjoying the last night of his holiday with his brothers last night.
One of our swimmers found a large faced, digital waterproof watch with a velcro strap in the ocean a couple of mornings ago. Does it belong to anyone of us ??
An interesting article on swimming in the SMH which you can view here

There is a sign up on the notice board in the club that someone has lost a watch
(I think – i walked past it briefly this morning) Maybe this is the watch you’ve found?

OMG – and people think the B&B swimmers are crazy!
Take a look at these fruit-loops: http://youtu.be/YDYS4_v703I
I think Nick The Brick is in amongst them somewhere.I know how he likes disrobing in public.
They deserve a badge for sure. Maybe they will make an appearance outside the club on Australia Day if we ask nicely.

Some of those images are a bit wobbly – it must have been a hand-held camera.

Aaah, shame the subtitles had been lost. Let me explain; this is a traditional Swedish folk dance performed at every opportunity by Swedish families.
I agree with you Tim, now that the B&B is by and large overtaken by Swedes, it ought to become part of our daily ritual.

Lesley indeed u look great!
Quite surprinsingly this morning Queenscliff was very quiet, a sharp contrast with choppy Soth Steyne. Well done Sam, we enjoyed your company!
Looks like James, Cae are definitely up for a 5.35 to Freshie tomorrow. We may have to push it to 5.40 if too dark, 1st light is now at 5.25.
