Over 140 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
17 people ventured out early for a super choppy Bolderdash. This morning’s three distance demons; Cae, Gaetan and James said that surprisingly, the nicest part of the swim was between Queenscliff and Freshie headlands.
There was a fair bit of white water and chop off the beach but a nice gentle roll for the swim across the bay and back.
It wasn’t sooo clear today, but it can’t have been too bad as one of our first time swimmers, Lutz said there was so much marine life he didn’t know whether to swim or stop and enjoy the fish 🙂
A couple of requests, please…
Please could we ask that you try to remember to tick and encourage your friends to tick each morning that you swim, not for safety, just for fun, but so we have an accurate reflection of the numbers, as its fun to know how many people swam each morning, thank you.
Also, if we could try to re-group off ‘the point’ before we start, in line with the first telegraph pole would be great !! As ‘the point’ seems to be drifting closer and closer to Shelly… 😉 thank you.
Julie Cameron-Doe is recovering well from her elbow surgery, so it won’t be long until she’s back in the water with us, but in the meantime George is happy to make good use of Mummy’s B&B cap as you can see below… 🙂

Nice video James. I always think the sound on your QC recordings sound “otherworldly”… Very sedate but also alien…
Really tough swim today, you feel like you’re swimming twice the distance in the chop. Shelly swim really wiped me out after Freshie.
See you all Friday!

Just to let you know Bruce is looking great and is happy and grateful for any company. If anyone would like to visit him he is in South Wing 5, ward 8c… with a top view 😉
If anyone happens to go up in the mornings, he would love the Sydney Morning Herald 🙂

Not that I care (much) and not that I even check on a regular basis (at least not more than once a day) but I think it will be me that goes past 200km on Saturday.
It’ll be hard to get past the people ahead of me though so I may have reached my highest position.
Anyway it’s good being on holidays and swimming every day.
