65 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Another stunning day in paradise, with beautiful water and clear blue skies.
The water was ever so slightly cloudy compared to the pristine waters that we have been totally spoilt with lately.
James Goins didn’t swim today, he took some fabulous photos from land for us instead, an example is the second and third one on this blog, fantastic colours and such artistic shots. I couldn’t choose few enough for the blog so I
have uploaded all the ones James has sent through onto the website, you can view them here Make sure you take a look at them they are terrific !!
22 people doubled up for a second lap this morning, so that’s just over a third of us, how good is that for mid winter ! The summer badge is going to be too easy I can tell…
Luitz Koopman saw an eagle ray just off the point and Midge Castel said she enjoyed the second lap more than the first 🙂
There were lots of green and blue groupers around this morning and the cuttlefish was
out to play too. Talking of Cuttlefish check out Gaetan Guilhon’s amazing photo of one yesterday, along with his photo of a port jackson shark and the rare g-string fish which he so proudly photographed !! In all seriousness Gaetan your shots and videos are absolutely outstanding, soon enough you will be replacing all the photos on the Australian Museum’s website, I think I get more excited for you than you do 🙂
What a talented bunch of people
we have amongst us, and the best part is, we all get to share it, I just love it 🙂
Gotta love the photo of Claire Egber’s birthday present from Gaetan… a t-shirt for herself and Michel… 🙂 Brilliant !! I don’t understand why they were seen at breakfast in them today though… ??
John Kelly’s daughter flew to Brisbane yesterday morning and they flew over Shelly Beach, she sms’d John to say she saw all the pink caps in the water – how cool
is that – awesome !! Do you think we will come upon Google Earth soon ???

Enjoyed the double crossing – need to take advantage of the excellent conditions while they prevail. Great videos Gaétan, especially that of the giant cuttlefish.

Jim i think it’s not that the Cannon camera is better than other ones. Michel took some great footage yesterday with his Lumix. I think he will post the link later on.
I used to do very bad footage with mine at the beginning but then once you get to understand what you are doing wrong you get better at it 😉

Regarding the Oceans movie coming to Manly this week. In order to get a group discount we need to have a minimum of 20 people book and the booking needs to be done in one go.
I am happy to make the booking on everyone’s behalf but only if 20 people want to go of course…
Otherwise it might just be easier to say we’re all going on Friday 8th July, assuming they have an evening session, they’re not saying yet or at least I can’t find out yet, and then everyone just get their own tickets and we see everyone there…
I have a feeling this will be the easiest option, for me at least 😉
What do you guys think ???
