03/06/2011 – Express Escalator

44 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

About 20 swimmers went out through the surf this morning, and for those of us who were spectating at the point on our way to half way, oh my gosh the rip was on super speed, the swimmers literally got sucked out and spat out the other side past the waves. We’ve never seen the rip working soooo fast, and Nick TB Dowson has certainly never swum that fast before.

Jade Harkness and Anne Lemon were the only two girls that went out in the surf, and incase that wasn’t enough they also came back in too. The only explanation I can think of is Jade is blonde, but what’s Anne’s excuse, Stephen Coulter said she must have had a senior moment :-). Seriously girls, in fact everyone, well done !

The swim from half way beach was lovely, a little undulating which made it fun 🙂

Oh and by the way, did anyone see any fish ???

Taylor, who kindly and very handsomely modeled our men’s B&B swimmers submitted one of the B&B photos to Bonds for a modeling job and he has got a call back, how exciting good luck Taylor !!!

There is now a link on the left hand column of the blog for you to click on to view a graph of recent B&B attendance which will update each day after each morning’s swim sheets have been scanned in.  The number overlaying the graph in the image also updates each day to show that day’s attendance, now that’s seriously cool, well I think so anyway.  I am just blown away by Magnus’s amazing programming  🙂
