Sometimes it’s not just the exercise we come down to Manly for but the people, animals and fun time had by all. The day started off stormy after raining all night…
then it all cleared up nicely for our swim…
We had two new swimmers today:
Jenny brought along Emma, on the left:
Meg also joined the group today:
I was in awe of all of John’s badges today then got distracted by Shaun’s shenanigans –
Inge found this jacket in the bathrooms this week, if anyone knows it’s owner or is the owner, contact Ian Forster or Inge:
Two pretty sights en route to Shelley by foot today:
Once at Shelley, all the socialising starts:
Tony and Matt chatted with me while they waited to leave again:
JK with Sophia and Errol mingling:
The girls photobombed Daniel, visitor from QLD, with his uncle Marty:
I had a leisurely swim back with Dee and Pauline but only saw lots of little fish:
Then we bumped into Gayle and had a half political conversation with social chatter:
Once back on land I caught up with Guy and Adam, who didn’t know about the montly dinner!! Naughty! They’ll be at next one perhaps:
One of my favourite dogs Sir Laurens, he even has his own Instagram page, with dad Gus and aunty Sophie:
Cafe of the week for me was Roast Office on Monday, always a nice treat to pop up there:
The big discussion before deciding to do a triple I believe,
it’s all about exercise for some, and having a good time for others.
Stats: 2 new swimmers,
temperature: 21.5
attendance:168
Happy Easter everyone,drive safely.

Great Blog, good to see you back in the water.
John Kelly will need help putting his already weighty Hoodie on when he gets his 1,000 badge. It’ll be the last straw.

Lovely blog Ed, beautiful photos of a great swim. We found a pair of predator goggles on the “WALL” today. If anyone has lost them I’ll give to management tomorrow.

Great blog Ed. What’s the swimming etiquette regarding political discussions at the point? Avoid or embrace?
Great Boulderdash conditions tomorrow. Groups leaving 6:20 and 6:30. Depending on your speed. Everyone welcome!
