Bit of a wave but mostly flat, warm water, blue sky and lots of swimmers and paddlers about. It felt like summer today.
I arrived close to 6 am with the intent of getting the early swimmers into the blog. Imagine my surprise when I saw Shaun Ken and others emerging from the sea having already completed their swims! Apparently it is not dark at 5.45. I thought it was because my eyes were closed, still sleeping. Guy arranged a very warm temperature. Modelled here by Harry James and Andrea
Welcome to Grace today – a newbie. What a corker she selected. Posing here with dad Jules.
Ewan and Suzi modelling the lovely santa fish hats from Lara Solomon. Suzi modelling in the water. Feeling Christmasy already. She may be selling them at the beach on Saturday
Already swum!
Getting ready at 6 am
Suzette the turtle whisperer. When she went to swim with the Forster Turtles, they all saw a turtle. They will be looking forward to her return!
These swimmers thanking Guy for the great conditions
The wall is being adjsuted a bit so that the surf skis can be carried up the ramp sideways.
Rare sighting of early swimmers out of the water
In we go
Nice swimmer who did not mind (I hope) me getting in the way for a photo
