What a spectacular morning! I overheard many swimmers exclaim gleefully that it was the best swim this year.
We had pretty perfect conditions!
The blissfully cool morning dawned with lots of low cloud and a little mist. The soft, grey light only seemed to enhance the bright smiles on everyones faces. The gentle drizzle didn’t seem to impact the numbers of swimmers who all appeared energised and impatient to get into the water. The recent run of hot days has made an impact on everyones energy levels of late, so this morning the relief that the cool morning brought was abundantly clear.
Everything was in abundance this morning. I love the crossover between the 6.30’s and 7’s. We get to see the immediate impact of the swim on the faces that greet you as they stroll out and we go in. It was abundantly clear that we were in for a beautiful crossing
There was the usual gathering of 7am ers at the club house. All abundantly cheery
The Gentleman’s club! These two groups are everything gentle men should be: dashing, kind, calm, funny, knowledgeable and entertaining. They can also banter with the best and tell a good story – often embellished but thats why we love them.
Matt, Lyndal and Richard
Sam
Sylvia
Wendy, Craig, Lisa, David and Janet
Derek, John and Justus…..and abundantly joyful Lainey
Melise, Inga and Paul
Abundantly pregnant Lucy and her friend who has 2 days until she is due.
The water was absolutely divine today. 21.9 degrees and the clarity was perfect and allowed even my weak eyes to focus on some beautiful abundant marine life. The best news was there were no stingers!
This school of fish were in knee deep water just off the beach at Manly
Georgina, Monica Alison and Jane enjoying their double on the way to their triple. Go WOW”s
There was an abundance of smiles at Shelley. Initially it was a calm and orderly abundance…….
Until!……….
After Rainer alerted others to the blog camera, all sorts of shenanigans started
Louise, Lainey, Janet, Sue Rainer and Lesbubbles enjoying the fun
There was an abundant display of arms in the air at the Point as some were preparing for their triple and others a double. They all still had energy to enjoy a little skylarking
Marco paddled into the scene obviously missing his darling Nicki who is home with the flu. Get better soon Nicki
Marco’s concern for Nicki is quite clear in this photo!
An abundantly happy group
David, Holly and Mel. These three gorgeous swimmers display the amazing impact that swimming has on us all. Their abundant joy seems contagious.
I hope everyone continues to enjoy their day. I have an abundance of work to do now so will sign off.

NOTICES
Cole Classic Sunday 5th.
We are currently unsure of where the Cole Classic will start or end as yet as conditions sometimes change the course, so we will make a decision on where we swim to and from on the day.
If all of the activity is around the Surf Club and Shelly Beach, we would probably go North, however as I said we will endeavour to find more out this week
and make the decision on the morning of the swim.

Public apology for bumping into Lucy today.
In the past week I have managed to have a head-on with both her and Wilf. How bad is it colliding with not only the most heavily pregnant B&Ber but also our only octogenarian.
Sorry to both! I do feel like a doofus! 🙁

No damage done in our collis
son for which I take half the blame. But we do have a couple of others in my age group – Greg and Errol.

Thanks for the blog, Lisa! Love the photos (even though I look mad in one – it’s just my concentration face!)
