Tuesday 7 February 2017 – Cuttlefish are back

February 7, 20173

Morning all, apologies bout the delay but just couldn’t get a spare moment today to post these pics. I hope they find you eventually.

1/2 a meter of SSE swell on 6 seconds, so really nothing for us in the corner to speak of. Planned to rise to 1 meter tomorrow but really wont notice it in our corner. What we can say is a fair bit of rain on its way.

About 70 people in the 6:30 this morning all hoping to get in before the rain. The 7 am was relatively relaxed.

More coming out than going in.

And at the point Kerry spotted the first cuttlefish of the season.

By my guess 58 swimmers in the 7am.

Nice and glassy conditions and a balmy 23.7 made it very relaxing.

There is never a bad day for a swim.

And two of our newest recruits Ali and Will after a personal best.

And Brad and Milly holding the fort.

Might be time for the marketing department to redraw the whiteboard.

And finally if you have left your best at the wall give Ian a call.

All the best for the week

Brian

Staying safe
Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company.
