Today was a day to celebrate with whales, dolphins and perfect conditions for a Boulderdash too.
whales were spotted close in pre swim
this group headed off for the boulderdash, and saw dolphins fly underneath!
up close and personal with the fish in the bay.
I managed to smash through this large jelly mid way to Queenscliff, ouch!
all these people reflect the joy of the swim in manly, whether paddling around at the point and bower or racing each other between manly and shelly-
i found the puffer fish amonst the surfers, way out of his normal play area-
i hope this clarity stays for a while:
belinda after the boulderdash with no fins or wetsuit, part of our training for the Bondi and Coogee swims coming up -anyone else keen to join us who isn’t already registered?
a big thanks to management who do the hard yards behind the scenes and up front welcoming the new swimmers.
Have a lovely day everyone!

Staying safe
Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits. Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Do read these excellent tips on staying safe in the surf. To read, or even download, click here.
