2/11/2016 – Getting our Vitamin Sea

November 2, 20162

Happy photo with Mary, Michele and Leisa to start off my very late blog today. It was a beautiful post-Melbourne Cup morning and our swim is the best cure for any hangover! The air and water were warmer and visibility is improving at last.

Look at this happy couple Robyn and John as they set off to swim together today!

Sid is on her way in from an early swim and suggests an underwater photo.

Mary, Michele and Leisa are happy with the water temp, 20.5 degrees!

I’m so pleased to see the water clarity is improving and the Old Wives and Diamondfish were more visible again today over the white rocks. One of my favourite spots in Cabbage Tree Bay…

Mother of 5 sons Nat makes it down for a swim today. She always puts a smile on my dial!

Rob, John, Baker James and Howard get together for a photo

Bruce met a guy from Virginia at the pool yesterday and introduced him to our swim today.

Dave, Mel and friends look so happy to be getting their Vitamin Sea!

Great photobomb Mary!

We find out it’s Guy’s birthday after the ‘Let’s Go’ but he doesn’t get away without a rendition of Happy Birthday and

a good soaking!

Fiona and Sandie share a friendly hug as they finish their swim.

And good mates Rusty and Jeff after their swim 🙂

Sophie brings in an old towel which was caught around rocks and could have entangled marine creatures. Well done Sophie. Remember to pick up any rubbish you can in our beautiful bay!

Enjoy the rest of your day folks and remember the Fancy Dress Swim Sunday!

Staying safe

Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company.
