Just another beautiful day

02/07/20260

This is what the early swimmers saw this morning. The photo is stolen from Lainey’s post.

Later it was like this.

Meaning-of-life conversations in the mid morning sun.

Judging by the state of this cuttle bone my guess is his ending was not gentle (but hopefully quick)

I heard reports of average-at-best visibility so decided my swim would be a quick one. Swimming out alone, I felt a little uncomfortable, executed the turn of shame, had a frolic and attemped some body surfing.(Seriously though, there is no shame in aborting a swim for any reason)

So apart from some rubbish I didn’t see much although I did hear reports of a seal and a pelican and many cuttlefish. Speaking of rubbish, why not take a few pieces out of the water? You might be saving a life.

These are from last Saturday’s dive. I was very happy to be able to photograph a Rainbow Cale, I find them to be quite elusive..

Our little piece of paradise is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

This musical offering is dedicated to the NSW Government.
