Dry blog for me today, so I am sitting in a cafe with my 5yo grandaughter watching CTB.
Misty drizzly rain, mild temp in the air.
I was expecting mayhem in the water and have arrived at Fairy Bower to find gentle swells and waves, with some swimmers coming around the point and others enjoying the bay.
Decent waves breaking on the point with surfers congregating, so entry at Fairy Bower seems like a nice option.
Will have to rely on those who swam to describe in-water conditions, swim to your own abilities and stay safe on the long weekend, cheers Kerrie x
