I got lasting benefit from Megan’s excellent blog yesterday as it got me through several first world problems yesterday and this morning. Why or why are the perforations in coffee lids done so poorly?! I am inspired by all the activity going on at the beach each time I visit
some discussions about the swim. I always get good tips from Inge about improving my technique expressed in a way I can understand. Thanks Inge.
Some tips for safe negotiation of waves from Martin and Jim
Some gorgeous swimmers getting ready
Back of mind for me and Angela is a work day following the swim but for Paul…
Swimming is an individual activity but we go in a group. Look closer – some are doing freestyle; some are doing a swim-like action (me) and some breastroke and even butterfly (so impressive). Some have different coloured caps – see below – some swimmers or wetsuits or flippers or flipper. Some are racing and some are photographing fish.
Lots of fabulous smiles

Some proper swimemrs arriving back from the 6.30 group

It was not like pool swimming today at the point but gentle
Good to see John at Shelly beach keeping things in order but what are the swimmers behind looking at
Was it this?
I exited through the waves and was glad to see these two swimmers to guide me back in.

Fantastic blog Elizabeth! So many happy swimmers, so inclusive! Annie and Vicky’s event next Thursday at The Sunkissed Bar is going to be great. Lots of swimmers have booked already so don’t delay. It might be a great chance to take along a friend who you know needs a bit of a push. Someone I know took a friend to the last one and she says it changed her life! (For the better 😉

I was told by someone who was told by a lifeguard, a 4 metre great white was seen. So, 3rd hand info for what it is worth? Enjoyable blog thank you Elizabeth.

Always excellent blogging when you’re on deck and yes Inge does give good swimming tips. I’m still trying to perfect her arm technique. Water temp pretty much ideal today too.

Reading Oblivion by Indridason. Crime fiction. Enjoyable and quick read. Not lofty. Do you think there really was/is a shark?

I just told one of my work mates that I read on our swim blog that someone overheard someone who was told by a lifeguard that there was a 10 meter great white at Manly Beach this morning.
Great blog Elizabeth! Brilliant photos. Do you have a new camera?
