Donations and Celebrations!

Today was spectacular in so many ways. The bright sun coming over the horizon, with that calm bay ahead of me. How could it not be a great day down at the swim.

Ken, one of our early swimmers who works for the NSW Fire Brigade, will be talking tonight at the fundraiser for the bushfires at the surf club, see below. He’s been working very long days this week, 16 hours at times, also on the beach today as a lifesaver, and has a smile on his face after his swim, of course.

How could anyone not love that face! Keep up the good work Smurf and thank you to you and all your colleagues.

I found Elizabeth reading before the swim, I could never concentrate in that environment. Too many animals to look at and people to listen to.

This was my view of the beach as I finally got to have a swim, how beautiful and how lucky are we. We get it for free even with some sun showers in the morning.

B&B FUNDRAISING CHRISTMAS PARTY

Please book early for the B & B Christmas Party, which will be held on Tuesday 10^th December at 6.30 pm in Henry’s Rooftop Bar (2^nd Floor) at the Steyne Hotel. All swimmers and partners/friends are welcome (no under 18s unfortunately). The theme is simply “Christmas”, so come dressed in your finest Christmas paraphernalia. The music this year will again be provided by the band, “Gluteus Maximus”, who play two types of music, Rock and Roll!
