Things seem to be returning to normal after a wild week at our favourite little patch of sea! 140 of you braved the weed and still slightly turdy water for a swim across the bay. Unfortunately no swimming for me… I already had a bad back and then decided to go skate boarding on Tuesday....

This group comprised mainly of over 55 year olds and included Engineers, Grandmothers, Psychologists and Teachers! Winter is here!! I was hoping for some sort of fanfare…..a band of trumpeters heralding in the new season, perhaps. Or even just a little sign from Mother Nature – maybe a chilly wind from the south, or distant storm clouds brewing on the horizon……..something….. anything, to show us winter had arrived!     Well...
