I saw the bluebottles washed up on the beach and the waves looked a bit vigorous so I thought it would be the swimming pool for me today. BUT the early swimmers said there was no sign of blue bottles in the water. So we went in. There were no blue bottles in the water....

The water might have been murky/milky/low viz today but the water still felt clean, invigorating and at 17 degrees slightly warmer than the last few weeks.
