Good to see everyone this morning… Anne tells me about 80 swimmers, no new people and water at about 20 degrees.
I heard there were blue bottles and jimbles in the bay so decided to wear a wetsuit… and was then mercilessly mocked by the 6:30am macho men. I like to think of them playing a similar role to the the King’s food taster. If they survive the swim… the 7am gang head out!

A-team this morning…
And yes… some of us had quite a fun little trip to Melbourne last weekend. It did feel a bit weird for this poor vicar to be staying in some fancy hotel suite. Still, that is how the A-team rolls… here we are catching a helicopter back to Melbourne from lunch at a vineyard in the Yarra Valley. You can make that your screensaver.
And great to see so many Bold and Beautiful peeps at Parliament House on Tuesday night supporting a wonderful charity called Stephen’s Children. Finally a little charity that I am involved in called African Enterprise is having a dinner next Tuesday night and I would love to invite you all. AE was instrumental in bringing down Apartheid in South Africa and does reconciliation work in places like Rwanda. I served with them for a year when I was 21. The International Team Leader of AE from Kenya will be speaking – and it is sure to be inspiring stuff! You can turn up on the night.

Are all my ticks legit? I think you can get powder to stop that. I have swum a few kms lately, but I gather only 4km gets counted until B’dash and the Summer 6 & 10 kms start. It’s game on then Lesbubs
