14/10/2015 – Jimbles Ahoy!

October 14, 201511

Fiona led the 6AM “swim in the dark ninja” crew who reported a few jimbles out wide so the word was to stay close to the rocks (where the scenery is much better anyway even if it is a bit further).

Hmm? maybe tomorrow.

I’ll keep a look out for you for you.

The 6:30 crew bravely led by Andrew were not to be deterred though.

I’ll just go the point?!

Father and son were not deterred

And here are some photos:

And just to prove I did finally make it into the water:

Shelly will be back on the Wednesday blog next week!

Numero Uno! John invites all and sundry to join in the morning push ups at Shelley!

Water temperature was a balmy 19.9  degrees and rising!

54 registered swimmers today though I think there were more and no newbies.

It has been a while but I finally made it back onto the blogger reserves bench and lo and behold I got a run almost straight away. Let us know if there are any wannabe bloggers out there as the more the merrier as they say!

See you next time!

Joe Earl

Staying safe

Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Thanks Fifi
They are still yet to get me but the big surf plus stingy things has been keeping me away. Will get back tomorrow and face what must be faced because the days that don’t start with the Bolds are never as good as those that do
