It was a little chilly in the water this morning, with the temperature sitting around 17.2Β°C. Definitely one of those swims where you know youβre going to feel it when you first get in!
The conditions were also a little choppy, which made for a tougher swim than Iβve been used to lately. But the visibility was fantastic, with plenty of PJs, groupers, yellowtails and lots of other fish making an appearance around Cabbage Tree Bay.
A little cloudy around the pool, but overall it was a beautiful morning to be in the ocean.
I was lucky enough to swim with Lisha, and it was lovely spending some time together in the water.
Before the swim, we sat on the Point with Colleen & Lish watching the 6:30 Drinks Express arrive and enjoying the sky and the first rays of sunshine beaming across the ocean.
And thatβs really the thing about our swims, the conditions are different every day. Some mornings are glassy, some are choppy, some are warm and some definitely make you question getting in!
But whatever the conditions, you nearly always come out feeling better than when you went in. Youβve had your swim, breathed in some fresh ocean air, caught up with friends and been part of our wonderful Bold & Beautiful community.
Weβre well and truly into spring now, and if youβre thinking about getting ocean-fit for summer, now is the perfect time to come and join us.
