I got a brief fright this morning on the way back when a shark swam very closely underneith me, going in the opposite direction. I think it was a bronze whaler, too grey at the top for a dusky, but I’m not sure. The head was more rounded than pointed.

Aaaalright, but you’re too fast for me, Skulky. Slow down a bit, and please no more smiling at me as those teeth freak me out. Sorry, it’s not personal.

What a special swim today. Perfect conditions, lots of happy, smiling faces. Plenty of sea life. A memorable swim.

Indeed a lovely swim again today! Anna don’t worry, seeing how the wind is strongly blowing this afternoon, we’ll probably have to swim in the harbour tomorrow, not shark nor bluebottles there! πŸ™‚
