I got a brief fright this morning on the way back when a shark swam very closely underneith me, going in the opposite direction. I think it was a bronze whaler, too grey at the top for a dusky, but I’m not sure. The head was more rounded than pointed.

Aaaalright, but you’re too fast for me, Skulky. Slow down a bit, and please no more smiling at me as those teeth freak me out. Sorry, it’s not personal.

What a special swim today. Perfect conditions, lots of happy, smiling faces. Plenty of sea life. A memorable swim.

Indeed a lovely swim again today! Anna don’t worry, seeing how the wind is strongly blowing this afternoon, we’ll probably have to swim in the harbour tomorrow, not shark nor bluebottles there! 🙂
