Dear Izzy,
Thank you for caring for me in my very pained state this morning. Those blue bottles were a different kind of evil this morning and definitely the most potent that I have copped this summer (and I have copped a few).
What I would like to emphasize is thank you thank you thank you.It would tempt a man to go searching for blue bottles if he knew he was going to receive such a kind and caring nursing treatment afterwards.
I would also like to say thanks to Sarah and Tony, your sympathy and combination of hot and cold applications upon my stings was a great benefit and thank you both.
To people who mocked me during my pain (Jules, Michael and others. Names have been taken and lists have been kept.
Thanks again Izzy.
Love Iain

My first blue bottle sting and no the little b*****d didn’t just sting my arm or leg…oh no…my whole left side including my face. How can such a little insignificant thing that has no backbone hurt sooooooooo much?

Moi!!!??? I can’t believe you wrote that Iain. To show my heart’s in the right place, I have purchased, at great expense, and left at the club for you for next time – A bottle of HARDENER.

ohhhhh Nick Nick Nick I seem to remember the ever sympathetic Michael describing you as ‘screaming in pain’ over a bluey sting the other day!!!!
Of course my bluey sting was the worst EVER!

Michael,
Absolutely the worst sting of the summer for me. My hand is swollen up still and I’m struggling like crazy.
A single malt bottle of hardener (15yrs or so) would be just about perfect now. Can’t feel pain if I can’t feel.

To be fair I couldn’t really say he was screaming, as my head was underwater and I just thought the shark alarm had gone off!!

I was telling you to stop so you wouldn’t swim through them!! But i promise to raise a “shark alarm” on Saturday, if one’s got hold of my leg.
