Sure, life is a journey.ย One that really only begins with the realisation that it isnโt about going somewhere else.ย It is about coming back.
You already possess that which you seek.ย The true journey is crossing the chasm from who we think we should be, to welcome home the person we are.
The ocean doesnโt hesitate to greet the morning light,
Their darkness has passed, to be the ocean it need only wave.
Bowing in effulgent salute and returning the light it’s been given,
Tender acknowledgement that the sun has no choice but to shine.

Thanks Magic Hands. Manon who is from Paris, France & has been in Oz only a month had her first swim today to become a pink cap. She said she is impressed with you getting the spelling of her name right. A good feat since none of us but Eric seem to be able to pronounce it properly and each have a different version! She found the murky unclear water eery and when she put her head up found the Aussie sunlight blinding but she overcame her fear to make it to Shelly and is thrilled to be a pink cap. As am I! Its less than six months since I was an even scareder newbie but now …. No stopping me. I’ve got two badges!!!!!! Just saying! Still walking on cloud nine from yesterday. So grateful to the friend who encouraged me to get down & try it and supported me with encouragement & tips through the first few scary swims and a few scrapes & challenges along the way. Best gift a friend has ever given me.

Lovely thoughtful blog, Mr. M H.
And a note from Amanda hay at the OzMus re Lainey-Loo’s pic of a “Mullet Ball”: “Oh that does look like some spawning action even though it is a bit late in the season for them”.
