Good photography is all in the way the shot is set up, apparently. So here are some of my gallery worthy attempts this morning… Seriously, they should be framed.
It’s all about timing – Emma, Garry and “Pip”:
Angle is everything, it’s so 2015 – “7 o’clock!”:
Ensure everyone is smiling:
Nail the photo of the hug of the birthday girl:
And then get your thumb in the way when you try again! Happy Birthday Anna!
Play duck duck goose with the waves:
It takes skill to get people without heads:
You cannot go wrong with a shot that includes two lovely ladies:
Make sure there are water droplets on the camera lens for good effect:
Be stealthy and follow the shot you want – even if the supposed yellow buoy of the birthday girl is actually someone wearing yellow flippers:
Include a panorama where nobody can actually find themselves in it:
Capture the essence of the moment – Happy Birthday Sophie, Anna and Abby:
Finally, get a really arty shot of nothing but bubbles:
Photobomber of the day goes to this stripy fish:

I can identify with you with those comments re getting a good shot Anna. Funny blog! But the shot of Sophie lifting up Anna, our gorgeous birthday birthday girls is fantastic!
