The Jimble, however, is not dangerous. It does sting but the venom potency is nowhere near as potent as its tropical relatives. The Jimble can still deliver a painful sting. If stung, wash the area with vinegar and apply a cold pack to relieve the pain. Seek medical attention if necessary. –
The Jimble belongs to the Cubozoan order of jellyfish.

Oh Shelly, great blog but factually slightly misleading.
The photo of Pauline and Ian was of their new dog.
The photo of JK is the look he gives someone trying to talk him into keeping the blue folder.
The photo of Lips was the morning after he went over the top at the A listers botox party.

Jimbles are actually a species of Box Jellyfish! So we’re lucky they aren’t as nasty as their Northern rellies.
