Monday 27th July 2015 – Find your happy place

27/07/20159

Today’s title comes from a wristband  found during the swim.

5.58am – the water was cold for the first 100 metres but noticeably warmer past the point.

6.02am swim-in-the-dark crew, can someone please give me some selfie tips.

me, Mark, Ken, Ali, Patrick

Ali swims at 6 to give her time to swim and have a coffee in the sun before getting her boys off to school.

This shot is to say “hi” to Ali’s sister Clair who is holidaying in Thailand

Before the swim

These twins inadvertently swapped wetsuits. Errol this one is mine.

Rob, is it a toy or a car?

Water temp has dropped!!

We finally got our wetsuits on!

Getting warm after the swim – put your shoes on, Emma’s opts for the warmth of her hat from the USSR

Management Ian is happy to answer questions even after the swim.

Helen & Sarah just came for the coffee.

Jan, Marg, Gail & Stephanie keep each other warm after the swim.

We wore our wetsuits to stay warm on the beach.

I shared my Manly Wine bloggers office with this guy.

Have as great week ahead

Simon

Staying safe

Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company.
