Love

19/08/201516

You brought me sunshine

when it was predicted rain

you brought me laughter

when I could only feel pain

Oh Jimble on my thimble

be my friend today !

We are great by a cloudy day ! all 74 brave souls

Drinksy could feel the love @ 17.1 degrees

Sara will feel the love soon as she leaves us to join for Dr John !

This group sure can feel the love of a great swim with a tingle of  the odd Jimble

The sun really didn’t want to poke its head out much today

These were the bubbles from the diver in the shot above

This Jimble was looking for some loving, but noticed it was swimming away !

So I think it’s us who attack them as they try to keep out of the way !

Gayle seems to be dragging her feet low in the water,,,

get them up !

Lips is always a bit camera shy, but doing what he does best !

(not swimming)

Sparkles seen here powering thru the water !

hope she doesn’t find out who pinched her jacket ! she’ll rip their head off

We may actually find out what happened to that Jacket !

The smile says it all doesn’t it !!

Attracta & All the girls and no JK

Dave all rugged up ! the only “A” teamer who never wears a wetsuit !

Such great balance with the milk crate on his head.

Seen with heavily pregnant Lilli Baker (Tods Wife)

And now we come down to Real love !

the Mother & son kind !!!

With permission from Peter Anthony…

this is a poem he wrote as he held his dying mother  Flora’s

hand who passed away last Friday…

“With your hand in mine

As I sit by your bedside…

In silence and tear

Watching your chest fall and rise

Sensing death just near.

Everything is still Even the time,

Feeling my heart fill With your hand in mine.

I’ve got nothing to offer

But my hand and my love,

As I wonder when the angels Will descend from above.

You can only just breathe now And every breath is a chore,

As I sit crying beside you Praying for one more.

That hand I hold now so weak and so red

Would once reap through the soil

In your mighty flower bed,

Or ponder your crosswords

What seven across for a broken son?

Have him hold the hand Of his dying mum.

The hand that held me steady to walk,

That waved me on through life,

Encouraged me to talk,

And held me in my strife,

‘Just do your best at whatever you do’

And ‘people are there to talk to’

Echo from the past

Is this next breath your last?

Now it’s down to this,

just holding your hand,

Admiring your strength again,

In fighting your last stand.

Your body may pass And your soul on its way to heaven,

But your words, your love and your strength Will stay with me forever in time With your hand in mine.”

What ever the mind can conceive & believe it can achieve “Napoleon Hill”

Have a great day ! Mine started out great !!!

Love you all ! !

Nice work Shelly. Love the love.
So the Winter Badge Ceremony will be held in the RFW bunker again?
Looking at my underwater photo, I just cant figure out what’s wrong with my stroke. It’s textbook. I should be so much faster.
Beautiful poem by Peter. Thinking of you mate.

You are the bomb Ian. Great blog. Amazing underwater shots. Cracker of a video and then, when I’m just wondering if there’s more room for another laugh….surprise surprise, to find a tear in my eye! What a wonderful tribute to your mum Peter.
