Thursday 9 May: Now I know what the secret sauce is

09/05/20199

I may have discovered the secret sauce of the B&B swimmer. It’s not just about swimming it’s about people. So what’s the secret sauce? Its care. Pure and simple.

You care about yourself. You are committed to understanding who you are – your strengths, your joys – and you are committed to becoming the best version of you that you can be. You care enough to trust yourself and have an optimistic attitude to what swim is possible for you. Is it a Shelly? A double? Or a quick one from 1/2 way? You care enough to be fully engaged in every conversation you have. You like being famous as a great person to talk to. You care when people are sick, or lonely or need someone to have coffee with. Or you will just hang around the wall and chat with whoever is there. Because you care.

You give people your attention and make the time to genuinely understand them. You know the greatest joys you will experience will be with other people. Just a little chat here and a big smile there. And you know that real happiness comes from being useful to others and the world around you. And its care like yours that makes the secret sauce. And no matter how cold it may get its always a warm experience at the B&B.

If you”d like to know more about what makes a great conversation come along to next Tuesday’s dinner…I’ll be talking about talking. See details below.

Keep Caring…

Pete Anthony

Please book early for this event as it is sure to be popular. The cost of the dinner is great value at only $25 a head, which includes shared entrees, and a selection of mains to choose from (including a vegetarian option).
