Cabbage Tree Bay is like a box of chocolates…… and that’s the beauty of it. Every time you swim, you never know what you’re going to get, and it changes minute by minute.
I’m thinking the rain may have kept some people away because I didn’t see the usual throng. Or maybe I showed up during one of those between-the-shifts gaps.

I heard stories of the world’s biggest Wobbegong between the point and the shed but did not see it.
I heard stories of 2 big cuttlefish having some robust conversation but did not see them.
I heard stories of 2 smaller cuttlefish sneaking a quickie during above altercation but did not see it.
I did see 2 cuttlefish. Or was it the one at slightly different times?

Lainey and I were searching for more of them until we were beckoned over towards the pool.
This is new turtle Rosemary, we are pretty sure

Definitely smaller than Basil and different front flipper features.
Here we are mermaiding, keeping a respectful distance.

That may look like fart bubbles but it’s not. I doubt I can multi task that way.
On my way back I saw this huge school of yellowtail just before the shed. Water was much cloudier there, and they were not discernable 20 metres away.

Here’s an interesting music clip. Olivia Rodrigo covering a song by an artist I like very much. Have the best day!!
