Toasty 22.3 degrees in the water.
Our crew launched into the rip @6:15 (6 minutes after sunrise). We zigzagged to the pipe using multiple rips (out) & waves (in) – perfect body surfing conditions.
I almost forgot to blog until I got to Fusion.
I caught up with Roger drawing his “trout” on the newspaper, Tim reported the “let’s go” was crowded but the many overseas first timers were reluctant to be identified at Shelley. Lauren said she was swamped by the A team’s splashy start.
Gary (wearing his son’s “Swimming Australia” jacket) breakfasted either Kara et al.
@8:36 I took two shots of waves & the b&w silver sea & black pines.
Have a safe and enjoyable week ahead,
Simon
(Thanks Rusty for the sunrise shots.)
