94 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Another magical swim with a little wave to break the calm.
9 swimmers enjoyed an early Bolderdash to Queenscliff and back this morning.
Today’s first three fantastic photos are courtesy of James Goins, thank you James.
I enjoyed playing around with my new camera this morning as Peter Bowes and Robin Turner performed their synchronized swimming all the way back 🙂
Our fundraising trivia night planning is going full steam ahead which is wonderful. We have 10 tables confirmed already so we will have the brand new Moonshine bar to ourselves for the night, how cool is that, it should be a great night !!
The Steyne Hotel have very generously extended the capacity to 130 people for the night so we now have room for another three tables. To check out the tables so far please click here. If you would like to be on a table or book a whole table please let me know asap as places are filling up fast. Also if you would like to donate a raffle or a table prize please also let me know. Your support in this event is very much appreciated, thank you.
It appears there is some healthy table strategy occurring already as Anna Alvsdotter’s Vice Captain, Robin Turner gave her
some homework to begin this morning…
Iain, however didn’t seem to feel the pressure…
Welcome back to Jane Stevenson 🙂
An exciting start of the surf life saving season for Manly this morning as they were filmed by the ABC for the raising of the flag ceremony.
It appears the cameras just can’t keep away from B&B though…
Gaetan kindly filmed our accidental appearance on TV again. To check it out click here. Is this the new B&B Friday thing: to feature somewhere on TV 😉
Exciting B&B Baby Updates:
Magnus and Debbie have named their beautiful baby girl: Charlotte Sarah Butlin.
Gerd Bernhard brought Lale down to B&B this morning for her first appearance, she won everyone’s hearts and captured everyone’s attention with her amazing head of beautiful black hair.
David Adam’s wife is due to have their baby this week and Sheri and Peter Bowes are due to have their baby two weeks tomorrow.
New baby news: Claire Egbers and Michel Le Vieux are expecting a baby in ~6 months. Congratulations guys !!!
Tim’s fact of the day: “Blue Whales weigh as much as 30 elephants and are as long as three Greyhound buses.”. Ouch, please don’t land on me Mr Blue Whale, although please feel free to cruise on gentle beside me… please 🙂
Some lovely on tour photos of Aelwyn Norton taken on her recet holiday in Europe; Florence, Malta ad Italy. Thank you Aelwyn, I must say it looks like you had a tough holiday 😉

Everyone Sheri is due in two weeks and it would be great fun to start guessing when the baby will arrive.
Perhaps an entry of one beer and then pick the Date and Time of when you think the baby will come! Winner takes all beer! (If you don’t want to bet beer please just announce non beer bet with your guess)
A good rule would be to say that you cannot pick within two hours of an existing guess. (I know NTB would likely bet 1 sec either side of my guesses otherwise)
All entries to be in by the end of the weekend on the blog! Sheri please hold on for weekend.
I’m guessing Sunday the 2nd of October at 10:30 pm (Sorry Sheri it looks like you will be alone at the hospital as Pete and I will be celebrating Manly’s Grand Final Victory at the Steyne)

Iain, there seems to be a common thread to your posts- your trivia table will be fuelled by beer, you suggest a handicapping system for successful trivia night players where they have to down shooters when they win a round, and now a pool for the date/time of Sheri and Pete’s child with the winner receiving… you guessed it, beer. Hmmmm, maybe that explains why the book is upside down.
PS will there be a betting scandal if the baby is induced?

Brendan, I was just going to say the same… Something tells me Iain is not such a stuck up guy after all.
Iain, I’ll let you in on a bit of trivia (yes, it’s on the house): beer has more calories than tap water. Sorry to break the bad news.

Clearly you show the limitations of your knowledge. After several beers when I look in the mirror I have noticed that I look slimmer and more attractive. The dieting power of beer is not just limited to myself mind you as it can be clearly seen across all in the beer drinking establishment!

Sorry Anna,
Couldn’t contain my joy at the news Nick the Brick is on his way back from Newcastle and I had to have a few celebratory beve’s. Serious man love will be going on at the Steyne tonight.

I agree Great early swim. I was even home by 7 to get the kids sorted for school. Sorry to miss the swim that counts!
I’m guessing 504am 30th Sept for baby bump Sheri. I’m sorry it’s gonna be an all nighter

Alright, my guess is 3 October at 11.30am. You’ll have a nice, nurturing breakfast before going in to labour, Sheri, then champagne lunch just after baby is born. Wonderful start to that week, I think 🙂
