It was a good swim this morning and the bit of “bump” as we went past the Bower was a good reminder of how lucky we are to be so protected from the Southerly swells. Believe it or not there is a THREE METRE swell coming from the south, so a bit of a bump is not too bad eh!!
The swell is going to continue from the South and is going to fall off dramatically, so we can expect smooth water down to dead flat over the next week and it should get even warmer. Although at 17.7c this morning its almost tropical. Any warmer and some of those wetsuits might melt off.
