Big rain again (through the night and early morning), big waves and so much dirt carried in the sea.
Tomorrow will be a better day! (yes I know i already said that yesterday :-))

I had the best sleep-in until past 9am! (After surfacing briefly from my slumber at 6am due to the thundering rain)
Sadly, the rain is supposed to stay for most of the week, but I guess the streets are well and truly cleaned from cigarette butts and dog poos. Wonder were they might have gone…?

Just went to Shelly for a walk the water there is not nice at all, dark brown. There’s also plenty of purple stingers (‘purple people eaters’ as they call them) on Manly beach but there are small ones and Lifeguards say they are harmless, no one reported being stung today.
Let’s check it in the morning.

BOM stats show 137mm of rain in the past 24 hours (to 9am Sunday, 20/03/2011) in Belrose and Avalon (no stats for Manly). That’s 14cm of rain in 24 hours, probably over 20cm for the past 48 hours! Wettest March in 24 years 9 News says.

Did my laps in Fairlight pool instead and it was even rougher and soupier than the ocean!
