Mornin’ all. Inner Westies here. Big celebration today – so many badges were handed out!

Before I launch into today’s great swim and ceremony, I am a VERY proud Inner Westie today. Fi1 and Mickey are representing Australia in the world triathlon championships in Rotterdam. Today is the big race. Here they are modelling their outfits before they left.

Back to our swim!  A bit nippy, but very flat and pretty clear. 16.8 water T and 8 degrees in the air. A few newbies and about 250 swimmers.

And we’re off to Royal Far West for a ceremony and sausage sizzle.

And on and on it went till there were no more sausages, no more badges. Those who missed out don’t have to wait long – summer badge season is not far away !
