Mornin’ all. Inner Westies here. Well, just Emma. Fi1, Fi2 and Mickey are doing the Half Marathon. Go team!
They missed a gorgeous swim. Perfect weather. Lots of people – about 350, 17 newbies and water 19.4.
So many fish to see – apparently the cuttlefish was out and about, as was a school of small duskies and more. Has anyone seen the turtle lately?
Wonderful sunrise today – the light in Manly was gorgeous. I tried to snap it.
Keen beans were limbering up…
630 crowd coming home
Now for some portraits
Morning Simone
Bonjour Olivier et Gabi!
Holly looking after tired animal
G’Day Giles. Reckon my wetsuit will be dusted off pretty soon..
Charlie and Mike looking pleased to be at Manly this morning
Meike getting ready to plunge in.
A blog isn’t a blog without a newbie being sworn in – welcome Anne!
And a blog isn’t a blog without a photo bomber!!!
But I have to tell a story about young John here. He has been swimming with BnB for three years and waiting patiently for his turn to star on the blog. “Too many photos of the A team” he cried. “Not another one of X and Y…” he bemoaned. “When will it be my turn?” he asked me this morning. Well, after much consideration of the hoards of requests, today is John’s lucky day. Here he is looking very smartly dressed after his short bike ride down the hill from Mosman to swim with BnB this morning. I hope John you had as good a swim as I did. The water was gorgeous and so many fish to see.
And a note to fellow BnB blog readers, if you too have been waiting patiently to be snapped, please come and find a blogger and we will happily indulge you!
Bye for today. Next blog will feature BnB in the Maldives… counting the days!

Brilliant blog Emma!
Thanks so much for filling in with such short notice. Well done on capturing the early morning light.
I saw Shelly (the radio turtle) this morning! Thanks to the unknown swimmer who pointed her out to me!
