Over 50 Bold & Beautiful Swimmers. Really big waves with the beach closed, so that was a great effort by everyone. Most people went out and back through the surf but we always have the option of getting in and out at half way beach which is a nice reprieve for some of us… 🙂
Richard and Attracta saw our new friendly shark off the point on the way back in.
Check out the photo of Tim from the other morning, I didn’t realise he was into body piercings…

your creative skills continue to amaze me Jules. This must be Photoshop because you know i only wear my dual nipple rings on special occasions. 😉

Beautiful day at Hermosa Beach but water only 13.9! Check out my on tour photos! Lots of dolphins close in – jumping clear out of water. Regular Masters swim from Hermosa to Manhattan pier – 2 miles!

MY creative skills, it’s YOUR body piercings !!!
Ok Ok, if I must; I confess the water was Photoshoped into the photo by Vanessa, unfortunately I can’t take the credit 🙁

Hi Skulking Shark. Where the heck is Hermosa Beach? and do you REALLY swim to Manhattan?? Doesn’t sound too appealing to me, but was it??

ahhhh, just saw your photo in the gallery SS. So Hermosa Beach is in LA. And the Manhattan was a pier. OK now I see. But 13.9c sounds a little chilly!! Still more fun than swimming to Manhattan I’ll bet.
