13/01/2011 – Free Coffee

January 13, 20112

30 Bold and Beautiful Swimmers.

Manly Wine were kindly handing out free coffees this morning, very exciting 🙂

Popular vote this morning opted for the harbour again. It was calm, clear and lots of fish.

The NE is still bringing in the blue bottles so we might swim in the harbour again tomorrow but we will still meet at the MLSC.

Water Temperature 20.8’C
Sunrise: 5:56
Sunset: 20:09
Low Tide: 9:30
High Tide: 15:15

Hey good swim again this morning, i think it was a wise choice to go to the harbour side, specially that the old and beautiful mentioned they saw a few blueys in the morning and an ‘unidentified dark shape, maybe a dolphin’ at the point… maybe…
Nice to see Jacob and Kai back, and as usual Jacob was leading the group giving a hard time to Michel 😉
1 more swim left before the 10km on saturday!

Hi Guys, I know this isn’t directly B&B related, but I’m guessing someone there will be able to help me … can any one explain when entering the Cole Classic, when you should enter for Back of the Pack and when for your age group? my understanding is if you wear fins or wet suit then you need to go back of the pack? if you’re slow (as I am!) should I also enter as back of the pack? ( I don’t plan on using fins or suit)or do I just go by my age group? the Cole Classic web site doesn’t seem to explain that in full, so if any one can shed any light that would be appreciated!
    cheers and thanks, Rob
